Welcome

Raeflower Holistics was birthed from a dream to reinvigorate community connection with the land and its medicine. Taylor Rae, Founder of Raeflower Holistics, is a community herbalist, educator, archivist, and clayworker whose work centers Black land traditions. In an effort to tell the stories of her ancestors and advocate for her peoples, too often forgotten, Raeflower Holistics aims to create accessible knowledge of plants, the body, and our ancestral teachings. With this work, she hopes to uplift community, invigorate reciprocal land relationships, and reignite our collective power in navigating our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Cornell Botanic Garden’s: Seeds of Survival and Celebration

“This garden display and exhibit shares the knowledge, skill, and resilience of enslaved Africans, their descendants, and today’s Black community and their deep connections to plants and the cuisines they inspired.

This display pays homage to the remarkable individuals who nurture and safeguard the rich heritage associated with the plants showcased in “Seeds of Survival and Celebration.”
